Chapter 11 – Seeking comfort

It took Alena two weeks to confirm that Christan is in fact avoiding her. She hasn’t seen him during that period. It’s been almost three weeks since they shared that night. Christan was correct in thinking that she indeed assumed that incident should’ve made them closer, even just a little bit. It’s inadequate to describe her feelings as merely disappointed. She’s starting to feel heartbroken. That was blatant avoidance on his part.
