After five days Archer returned home. He felt the excitement bubble up inside him. He had missed Olivia. He could not wait to have some fun.
Her sufferings extinguished the fire of revenge in his heart for some time. The anguish and pain that he had endured due to her departure was not even half of Olivia’s pain. She didn’t know that type of pain. But he had planned for her to at least feel some of it. She won’t find any peace, in the palace that had been constructed for her, unless she has walked at least half the path which he had been walking on for so many years.
In his twisted mind she deserved to suffer.
Paralyzed she just looked up at him dumbfounded. “I asked you to do something Olivia.” “Please,” she begged.“Oh so you want music?” he asked, totally callous of her begging. He took out his phone and played some music on it. When she did not move from her spot he said, “So you want audience? Huh? Want other men's approval? We can totally arrange th
Archer drank the glass of Scotch and threw it away; breaking the glass into pieces. The alcohol was not helping him today. He took pride in controlling and locking away his emotions when needed but every time when it was Olivia’s matter he lost it. He wanted to kill her. It was scary for him. He threatened her with other men watching her because he knew that Olivia was too modest and she won’t allow it. He used her modesty; turning it into one of her weaknesses. ~``~Olivia was called for dinner that night by St
Olivia could not believe that Archer was doing this to her. How could he? She cried out in her mind as tears drenched her cheeks. I won’t cry for him. I won’t. She wiped off her tears harshly but they did not stop flowing. He deserves her. A road side filth. When no more tears were left she got up on her wobbly legs and threw herself on the bed. Her mind and body were too tired from the events of the day. She drifted off in
Archer found Olivia already seated in the dining room at her usual spot. He felt the excitement bubble up inside him. He walked towards her; his strides powerful like always. His green soulless eyes found hers. Olivia did not bother getting up to greet him. She wanted to be done with the dinner ordeal already. The worry of little Alex was eating at her. After whatever he has done last night she had lost all hopes of any peace or understanding between them. She knew that she loved him but she had started resenting him now. She felt that her love for him was slowly
The next morning Olivia woke up to find her muscles cramping badly. Her neck and chest were covered in bruises. When she tried to get up a painful whimper escaped her lips. Her limbs felt so sore because of him. Last night she was trying to sleep when he had entered the room and without any warning he had started on her. As usual first came the abuse and then sex. It seemed that something had ticked him off. Unknown to her it was her love and care for her family that had ignited fire in his heart. Why can’t she love me like that? I loved her m
After putting Alex to sleep Olivia went to her room to sleep but sleep was miles away from her.She kept reminiscing on the good memories of old Archer. Archer who used to do everything in his power to keep Olivia from crying. He did not like her tears. He has changed a lot. The death of his mother and sister and her departure has changed him a lot.~`~`~
The attention of other guards who were standing beside that guard immediately went to the intruders. “Intruders found and shot in the back gardens.” He delivered the news through his walkie-talkie to one of the chiefs who had just reached outside Olivia’s bedroom along with three of his subordinates. He was just about to knock at the door thinking that Mrs. Mitchell would be awake as they had activated the alarm to let the people of mansion know about the danger. But after getting off his walkie-talkie he did not knock and commanded his subordinates to stand guard outside Mrs. Mitchell’s room. “And remember the orders. If you see any intruders then shoot at sight without any de
After an hour Archer reached the hospital. The doctor came outside and without wasting anytime explained the condition. “We have tried our best but-”Archer grabbed him by his collar and slammed him to the receptionist’s desk before he could finish his sentence. “But what? Ha?” the vein in his head was popping and his face was red with rage.
