"Congratulations! We are pleased to inform you that you are hired Mr. Alfonso."

Zen Alfonso, a broke 26-year old beta who worked harder than anyone could have imagined— even going as far as taking several side jobs just to pay his father's debt, screamed in excitement upon reading the email for the zenth time.

He couldn't believe that he had finally landed a job. It was a dream come true for him. He had applied to countless companies and had gone for several interviews, but nothing had ever worked out. The job market was tough, and it seemed like no one was willing to take a chance on him. But now, all his hard work had finally paid off. It felt like a huge piece of fish bone left his throat.

Zen quickly replied to the email thanking the company for the opportunity. He was filled with a sense of pride and relief. He could finally take care of his father, who had been struggling to pay off his debts for years. Zen's father had fallen ill a few years ago after accumulating debt from his company's bankruptcy, and ever since then, it had been a struggle to make ends meet, like he was always on edge— always worrying for money.

With his new job, Zen could finally give his father the care he deserved. He could provide him with the best medical treatment and ensure that he was comfortable. Zen knew that it wouldn't be easy juggling a full-time job and taking care of his father, but he is willing to make ends meet for the sake of his father's health. Although he admit that his father is incompetent, he still loved him and is grateful for his father's existence. His father was the one who took care of him when his mother left them for another man.

Although his new job at the company is just as an intern, Zen was determined to prove himself and climb the corporate ladder. He was excited to learn and grow in this new environment. The company was a tech startup with a dynamic and innovative culture. Zen knew that this was where he belonged. He was eager to contribute his skills and learn from his colleagues. Nothing comes easy in life, that is why Zen is wholeheartedly ready to face a new chapter of his life. Perhaps, in this new chapter, his life wouldn't be as harsh. If things went okay, he might even get lucky.

On his first day of work, Zen arrived at the office early. He was dressed in his father's old suit, which is two times bigger on him. He was nervous but excited. As he entered the office, he was greeted by friendly faces and warm smiles. Everyone seemed to be excited to meet him and welcome him to the team.

His supervisor, a young and ambitious woman named Emma, gave him a tour of the office and introduced him to his colleagues. He was amazed by the energy and creativity of the people around him. He could feel himself being inspired by their passion for their work. During his first few weeks at the company, Zen worked hard and proved himself to be a valuable asset.

Today, he is tasked to deliver a box of paper works to the office located at the highest floor so he swiftly grabs the box and went straight to wait for the elevator.

As he waited, Zen felt his heart racing with excitement. He couldn't believe that he was already trusted with such an important task. He knew that this was his chance to prove himself even further. He is also excited to meet the CEO of the company. Will he be kind and friendly, or harsh and strict. Somehow anxiety arose with him but he remained enthusiastic.

When the elevator finally arrived, Zen stepped inside and pressed the button for the 20th floor. As the elevator ascended, his mind raced with thoughts of the future. He wondered what kind of opportunities lay ahead for him at the company. He was determined to work hard and make the most of every opportunity that came his way.

When the elevator doors opened, Zen stepped out and made his way to the department. As he walked down the corridor, he couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. He had worked hard to get to this point, and he had finally made it.

When he arrived at the office, Zen was greeted by a stern-looking man in a suit. The man looked at Zen and then looked at the box of paper works. "You're the new intern?"

Zen was supposed to reply quickly but he was too astonished by the man's striking beauty before him. The man's face was like an angel, his skin as white as snow, even his eyes seemed to be glowing. He looked like a sculpture carved out of marble by a master craftsmen. 'Wow, I never imagined I'd met a man as handsome as a God in my lifetime.'

He had strong angular jaw-line, eyes as black as coal, and a face that would make any woman swoon. His face was framed by a mass of jet-black hair, styled pointlessly for the wind. He stood tall and lean, with the elegance of a dancer.

If there wasn't a CEO written on the smooth plaque at the man's desk, Zen would have thought that the tall man was a model or an actor. Although, his looks surpass even the most beautiful actor that he knows.

When the man fused his thick brows, that's when the intern snapped back to reality. "Ah! Y-yes, I am Mr..." God dang it, Zen forgot his boss' name. Luckily for him...

He trails off as he glanced at the plaque before looking back at his boss, "Claude." Zen almost gasps for air when Mr. Claude raises his brows as if he finds him amusing.

He hated to admit it, but is there anything the CEO can't do without looking like a supreme god with his beauty?
