Octavia POV

Snapping my eyes opened, I quickly got up and hurried to the door, before opening it, as I was welcomed with the shock of my life, there was dad, receiving beatings from two hefty warriors, while mom was on her knees, begging them, with tears flowing down her cheeks. My eyes darkened, as I suddenly felt a strong wave of anger, rushing through my veins, awakening my demon, my eyes changed to black, as I felt my breath, hitching, my heart came thumping heavily against my ribcage.
