My eyes slowly opened to bright light. Was I already dead? Was I with the moon goddess right now? I was happy, yet disappointed. I still wanted to be alive and perhaps meet that special someone those people had been telling me about.

I wanted to get to the human realm, to know if they'd accept me, or think I was a witch still. Maybe the witch's realm would accept me as one of them, but now the moon goddess took that chance from me.

Feeling my body in soft cozy clothing, the light was still too bright on my eyes so I used my hands to cover my face so I could slowly adjust to the light.

With my hands still on my face, I smelled an alluring scent all around the place I was in. Was this the moon goddess scent? It was so alluring!

And just as I wanted to open my eyes, I felt heavy footsteps moving away and at the same time, the scent seemed to go with it. I opened my eyes to stop whoever it was from leaving.

But sadly, I saw no one.
