"IT MARVELS ME when you say things like this without making it sound like you are lying to me.

"During those times I find myself believing in your words, even though, maybe I should not, because we have only just met. Worst of all, no matter how I try, I can't read you," she sighed.

Archer nodded in understanding. "You do not have to worry about reading me anymore because all your questions will be answered. But before that, I want you to promise to keep an open mind."

Clarissa would be lying if she said she was not freaked out a bit. She did not know what to expect and the uncertainty made her worry.

However, seeing him so nervous and worried was unsettling, so, regardless of how she was feeling, she plastered a reassuring smile on her face.

"As long as you are not a spy, a murderer, a rapist or a criminal, I think the rest can be understood."
