CLARISSABEING LOST IN their thoughts, the couple ate in silence for some time. When Clarissa raised her head, Archer had already finished eating and was watching her eat. ARCHERAS THE CAR arrived at the hotel, Archer took his mate up to his penthouse. He placed her on the huge bed which seemed to make her appear smaller than she was. Time flew by slowly with Archer not leaving Clarissa's side for a second. Sitting beside her on the chair beside the bed, he could not believe how incredibly fragile she looked at that moment.
