Chapter 8 – Prince Charming to the rescue (2)

Rodrigo was startled a bit when he heard her heavy breathing, she was still holding his shirt collar tightly, mumbling something to herself, he couldn’t make out what she was saying. She got lost further in her nightmare and tried to wiggle her way from Rodrigo, she leaves his shirt collar and tries to push him away.

“Let go of, leave me alone, don’t touch me!” She was screaming to no one in particular, and Rodrigo froze, looking at her face, she was trembling and sweating, he could feel her heart racing. He could see from her facial expression she was definitely having a nightmare.

He pulled her hands towards his chest and engulfed in his strong arms, he held her close, “Rey it’s just a bad dream, I'm here, can you feel my warmth, think of us laying on the beach in each other’s arms. Remember the happy moments and try and let go of the nightmare”.
