Chapter 22. Heart Break and Disbelief

I don't know what being the light means, and I don't have time to worry about a prophecy that I have never heard. I have to figure out how to save Levi. I finally break my thoughts and say, "So what about the other gift? How does that one work?" My dad gives me a slight head tilt before he responds, "Teleporting can be a little tricky when you first start. We will start with me teleporting with you so you can see how it feels and not end up at the north pole," He laughs when he says it, and it makes me wonder if that happened to him.

He walks up to me and takes my head. He then looks to Luca. "Go somewhere nearby but don't tell us where you are going." Luca gives him a look like, are you crazy. "I think we are playing hide and seek." I laugh hard as I say, but they both simply laugh with me. My dad then gives his attention back to me.

"The first time you teleport, you will feel a little uncentered when you land." "Is it possible to land like in midair and fall to my
