Chapter 13

IT'S been two weeks, and every night, I find joy in the company of my new friends. Tristan introduced me to his circle of friends at the same university, and I'm enjoying myself with them. After my class, we always hang out because they are avid party-goers. Tristan usually accompanies me when they have plans, and tonight, I'm sitting here with him because I suddenly felt dizzy earlier.

"Ininom mo ba ang binigay na alak ni Seriah?" Tanong ni Tristan habang mina massage ang aking palad. Nasa sulok lamang kami at hindi niya talaga ako pinabayaan.

Nakadantay lang ang ulo ko sa couch habang kinukurap kurap ko ang aking mga mata. Umiikot talaga ang paningin ko.

"That blue thing?" Mahina kong sabi.

"Oo, she's mixing something with the drink at baka nainom mo. Minsan nga ay sumasakit tiyan namin dahil sa trip niya."

Tristan continued massaging my palms as I tried to shake off the dizziness. His concern was evident, and the soothing rhythm of his touch made me feel a bit better.
