Chapter 40

Xavier's POV:

When he left the office, I flipped the table over and screamed in anger.

My little Angel. I can't imagine what she must be going through. This is all my fault if only, I had gone with her this morning. She wouldn't be taken away from us, again.

I sat on a couch with a scotch in my hand as I drank it all in one go and refilled it two-three times.

Where could she be? Her mother knows that I'm hundred percent sure, there is just this gut feeling that tells me her mother had something to do with it. Why would the Russians take her there is no war going on between us?

Flashback

Five years ago,

"Harry what brings you here?" I questioned as the man that once was my father's best friend entered my office with a pale face.

"Xavier, I really need your help." He panted and sat on the chair as I stood up and moved towards him and gave him a bottle of water as he drank it.

"A-Amelia," he worriedly stuttered.

"What about her?" I questioned not wanting to say that devil's name.
