Chapter 20
The next day Brieanna was running late for work. At the entrance like always, she meets Richard and she waves at him while he says hi to her.
At the kitchen, her shoulders were really sore, she keep grunting every now and then. If she didn't need money she would have taken the day off.
"You okay, honey?" Veron asked her, noticing how she keeps massaging her an arm after another.
"Yes, I uhm... I was a bit hard on myself practicing how to surf. I paddled too much," she replied, flashing Veron a smile. "I have a lot to learn."
"Take it easy. Just have fun with it."
Brieanna nodded. She will take it easy from now on. Just let things fall on their places while she do the things she loves. Like learning how to surf, needing to catch every wave and not just wait for the perfect one. Every wave is perfect, sometimes it is just not for you to ride it.

Evie's visit was short and Brieanna was really glad that her friend cared about her. They talked about what happen. Everything is back to normal for Brieanna. She went to work before William could even offer her to give her a ride. She doesn't want a ride, she just wants to explore more the road she takes. Not everyone gets a chance escape such situations. Entering the resort, she meets Richard who was with his surfboard. This happens often but this time, she wants to start greeting him with the same energy he puts. "Good morning, Richard!" she greeted, earning a raised brow from him. "Good morning. Someone's kind of in a good mood. I wonder what happened," he said, giving a lopsided smile. "Thank you for calling William. You saved me." "I could have done better but I didn't know. Brieanna was upset with William that she didn't laid eyes on him anymore and just marched towards her room and slam it close, diving into her bed.
