Chapter 57

It has been a week since Florainne and Ashton's visit came to an end. Now that Florainne's birthday party was coming, Brieanna could not focus on her work and neither could she on surfing. She has been telling Evie that she's really nervous and whenever she thinks of it her heart would not stop pounding.

"Can we just move our flight, William? Make it like the very night of the party?" 

"Nope, I already booked the flight. It's tomorrow, Brie." William gave her a thin smile. "It'll be alright. Viola is the only enemy at the house. I'm sure father and you will get along like how you got along with Flora."

"But Rain is a sweet girl! Your father is your father! He is a man!" She groans, rolling her eyes as she sits abruptly on the chair. "They are your parents!"

Now she remembers how she was close with her parents too. Her parents were awesome until that accident had to take it all from her. It's just sad.
