Epilogue

A year since that day I ran away from home and decided to die on an island. I had the perfect idea of the perfect death. It was not unsuccessful. In fact, the lost soul, Brieanna died and is still submerged down the ocean floor. I never retrieved my backpack, it's my grave.

Today, I am just with my surfboard, staring at the vast horizon, a golden one. The sun was setting beautifully like that day when I decided it was my last day on earth. It's majestic. The only difference was right now, the waves are crashing into my feet and I was not at a high place and I want to live. 

A corner of my mouth lifted when I saw the wave I wanted. I ran towards and embraced the ocean, not minding if it was cold or warm. I dived. With my chest on my board, I paddled to the lineup, my take-off zone. I waited and when I saw the wave I want, I chased it, ride it the way I would enjoy.

It was a very well written book. Touch on self awareness and how easy it is to lose oneself in depression and self worth. Learning to love yourself and being yourself and not letting others take away your happiness
