I woke up in the morning with an important decision to make.

Juliette knew the truth, and I knew she wouldn’t keep the secret for us no matter how much we begged. She had her stance, and I couldn’t change it.

I realized it was time to tell Jake the truth and try to reach an agreement. After thinking about it all night, I saw no other option. I felt trapped. Still, Jake could only be part of my children’s lives if he acted like a father.
