Chapter 4

The abomination in my womb didn’t dare move recklessly anymore.

As if afraid that one wrong move would cost it its own life.

The commotion I made clinging to the roof startled the people next door. They panicked and immediately tried to call the police.

I gritted my teeth and stopped them. The moment I got down, the first thing I did was call my parents.

"Mom, Dad, come get me and send me abroad for the procedure!"

I couldn't let that abomination be born from my body!

The moment my parents received my call, they rushed over without delay.

Using the fastest arrangements possible, they put me on a private jet and sent me abroad.

There was no time to explain everything in detail. I could only briefly say that my husband was trying to harm me, and that I had to terminate one of the children.

My father exploded in anger.

"I knew that little bastard was no good! How dare he do this to our precious daughter?

"Do it! You can even abort both of them if you want!"

I let out a cold laugh through gritted teeth. "No, I just need to abort the abomination that's been causing trouble!"

Hearing my words, Lucky continued to struggle, pounding and clawing at my abdomen endlessly as if he were trying to twist my insides into knots.

All the while, he kept shouting for Sunny to stop, still deliberately trying to frame him.

Meanwhile, Sunny was completely silent, not letting out another peep.

Fear and dread gripped me. I was terrified that Sunny had already been strangled by the umbilical cord, and that the tragedy from the past life would happen once more.

I bit down hard on my lip, tearing the inside of my mouth apart, forcing myself to stay conscious, but the pain was still enough to make me pass out.

When I opened my eyes again, a blue-eyed doctor stood before me, holding a large anesthesia needle, about to inject it.

"No, I don't want anesthesia!" I waved my hands frantically, my bloodshot eyes wide open. "I want to feel this abomination being torn from my body!"

The surgery began quickly.

I could clearly feel my abdomen being cut open layer by layer.

The tearing pain ripped through me, making me lose consciousness again and again, only to wake up moments later.

I didn’t know how much time had passed.

Eventually, the lights above me stopped blurring, and I felt like something had been removed from my abdomen.

Immediately, I felt a sense of relief, and a sense of finality.

Just as my thoughts went to Sunny, I heard devious laughter in my ear.

My heart clenched. That laughter belonged to the abomination, but what about Sunny?

Lucky’s triumphant voice echoed in my ears:

"Hahaha, you idiot! I was still born! Did you think you could abort me? All you did was speed up your death, and that useless Sunny's too!

"I already did all the preparations I could, and I am at the peak of health, so how could you win against me?!"

Suddenly, he froze, his voice tinged with confusion and panic, "Wait… where am I? What's this smell of urine?

"Why are there so many junkies around me? Where's my mother?!"
