Tycelyn's POV

I pushed Summer away from me when her eyes met my wrist, "I'm sorry," She apologized, she picked up a napkin from the table and began to wipe the blood on my hand.

I tried to change the past yet it happened in another way. The scar I was trying to prevent still happened. I looked at Summer in confusion, she was cleaning my hand and didn't ask about the date written on my hand.

I pushed Summer away from me again, "What is wrong with you?!" I yelled surprising everyone, this was the first time I yelled at Summer.

"No, what's wrong with you?!" Brayon yelled at me, What's his problem? Why was he angry that I was yelling at Summer?

"I will go change," I ignored everyone and whatever they were saying and went straight to my room.

I entered the bathroom, poured water on my face, and stared at the mirror as I realized it was only me who could see the date written on my wrist and no one else.

This wasn't a dream but my reality. I had lived past 2020 and I had died in 2024, everything was real but how did I go back to 2020? How do I even go back to 2024? How was everything possible?

I can't talk to anyone about it, they will think I'm crazy even I think I'm crazy, how do I even begin to explain that I'm from 2024, no maybe I'm mistaken. That's crazy, Tycelyn wake up, this isn't a movie where you wake up in the past, I must be dreaming.

I cleaned up my hand and searched through my closet looking for what to wear but there was nothing available apart from that same dress. I laughed, the dress I was avoiding now I was finally wearing it.

I stared at the date written on my wrist, "I'm really losing my mind right now."

I was approaching the sitting room when I heard voices, I guess the guests were already here and no one informed me about it and I hadn't had breakfast.

"I see she is here," Kreed chuckled and everyone followed suit when I arrived at the living room.

I felt disgusted being in the same room as the people who tried to kill me or rather the people who killed me.

I was in the same room with the bastard who didn't spare his child, I was in the same room with the serpent who didn't spare her sister, I was in the same room with the people who didn't think twice about killing me.

"We were wondering if you were trying to look hot for my brother," Emily said and everyone laughed. I couldn't laugh along because I knew their true colors and I was still confused by what was going on.

"Nice seeing you, Mr. Cyrus," I greeted Kreed and his family coldly before sitting next to Father. I needed to be composed then later I would figure out what to do.

"What took you so long Tycelyn? We already finalized the wedding date," Father said and I nodded my head with a forceful smile on my face.

I looked around me to see everyone was happy, everyone was happy for different reasons.

The Cyrus family were happy they had someone they could maltreat, suck dry and use to their advantage. They are only agreeing to this Marriage because they don't know I'm adopted and believe I'm the actual first child of this family.

Kreed was happy because once the marriage was finalized with the eldest daughter of this family, it would seal a great deal for him.

Father was happy because he was sending off his daughter, I wasn't sure why Ziora was happy and Brayon didn't care.

Mother was happy because I could finally move out of her home and she could use it for her selfish desires.

I didn't see it this way before but now, it's all different.

"The dressmaker brought your dress for fitting, so I would suggest you go in and try it so if there is any problem, it can be resolved," Kreed's Mother said with a loving smile on her face, they are all hiding their through color.

"Okay," I nodded my head, stood up and the dressmaker followed behind me to my room.

When I got to my room, I tried the design I picked some weeks before today, it was a beautiful white ball princess gown. It was lovely but I didn't like it, it was the dress that started my pain.

"I have never seen a bride look happy yet so sad," the dressmaker said, bringing me back to reality.

"Huh?" I asked because I wasn't sure what I had heard.

"Nothing, You look beautiful, let's go downstairs and show everyone the dress you picked," the dressmaker suggested, I didn't care and just followed her downstairs.

Everyone loved and complimented my dress while I was in another world, I could hear their playful batters but couldn't understand at that moment.

I looked at myself, what was I doing? I was killed because I married him, I was killed because I loved him. What if God was giving me another chance to right my wrongs? What if God wanted me to correct the past? What if God wanted me to destroy the man who didn't spare his child?

Fuck that shit, I wasn't going through with the wedding, I might not understand what was going on but I think this is my second chance and I should use it well.

I picked up the fruit knife from the table while everyone was busy having a conversation and tore my princess ball wedding gown into a short mini gown, the pearls and crystals falling to the floor, bringing everyone's attention to me.

"What do you think you are doing!" Mother yelled and placed her hand on the back of her neck.

I looked at everyone carefully before saying what I would never dare to say in my entire existence, "I refuse to be the wife of Mr Kreed Cyrus."

I felt pathetic, I didn't like her seeing me like this and I didn't feel confident anymore. “I just wanted to get something to drink and the chair was far from me,” I lowered my gaze as I spoke. “Dinr move, I will be right back,” Tycelyn said and hurriedly left the room. I was blessed to have a wife like her but I felt I was a burden to her. On that day three years ago, I didn't think twice before I drove in between Tycelyn and Kreed's car. All that was on my mind was that Kreed shouldn't hit Tycelyn's car, Tycelyn and our baby must survive. Even though I lost my legs, I honestly don't regret it and even if history were to repeat itself, I would still drive in between both cars. I was so happy when I woke up in the hospital and the first person I saw was Tycelyn, I was happy th

Three years in this hell hole and these people have refused to drop this topic, they bring it up all over again when they are bored. “She is rich but tried to kill her sister,” I turned and used my blanket to cover my face, I didn't want to hear the nonsense they were saying. “I heard the sister who she tried to kill is the one raising her son, instead of sending him to foster care,” another said and they all laughed. That was it, I have had enough, I sat up so they would know I was wide awake, “Anything you have to say, say it to my face,” I glared. They all looked at themselves and burst into laughter, “Did we say it behind your back?” These women sure made me speechless. “Why? Do you think I'm scared of a death-roll convict? Do you think I'm scared of a woman who wanted to kill her sister and her sister's family or a woman who is responsible for h

Three years later “Babe, are you okay? What's on your mind?” Kenzal wheeled his chair to where Tycelyn was arranging gift bags for the guest. “Yes, I'm fine,” Tycelyn bent down and gave Kenzal a kiss on his cheeks, “The kids must be so excited for their birthday party.” The three children in the house, share the same birth date and were all born prematurely. “Don't you think it's time we start telling Henry about his mother?” Kenzal suggested it to Tycelyn and she turned down the idea. Tycelyn and Kenzal had managed to pull through and survive. Tycelyn had given birth to twins, a girl and a boy, Bianca and Rain while Henry, who was the same age as them, was Ziora's child. Ziora was taken to jail after her recovery, she had no one and everything was lost, even her husband Kreed died the moment he arrived at the hospital. Ziora took the fall for everything that was planned, by her, Kreed, and Kendall with hard evidence. Ziora was given the death roll sentence. “Not yet, let's go g

I checked his pulse and it was very faint. My eyes landed on that wrist and the date was there.“I will meet you at the hospital,” I nodded my head as the ambulance closed the back door.I didn't know what this meant for him but I prayed the Almighty save him for me else I would die alongside him. I told the ambulance to take us to Juhani hospital which they did. On arrival, they were rushed to the OR with further questioning as I was able to provide their details.I put my hands on my tummy as I began to feel pain, “Mrs Juhani, you are bleeding,” one of the nurses said to me.“Tycelyn, what's going on? Why are you here?” Brayon asked the moment he saw me.“I … I … Kenzal..” I began to feel weak.“I don't

Your eyes,” Ziora scoffed, “I have always hated your eyes, they disgusted me so much, the moment you entered my house, I noticed your eyes, they looked so much like Father and Grandfather's eyes and I hated them so much.”She was just a child then, how could a child have so much hatred in her heart? How did she notice that?“I should have gouged out your eyes that day, the day I threw that fork at you, I wish I had succeeded,” Ziora gritted, I spat at her and she hit me again.I thought it was a mistake, it happened when we were younger, Ziora was throwing a tantrum that day and she threw the fork in my direction.
