“What?!” Diana's eyes widened as conflicting emotions stirred within her. On one hand, she felt joy that her brother would finally have a pup, but on the other hand, she feared he might reject Lisa and the pup.
Diana quickly opened the door to her office and ushered Lisa inside. She scanned the corridor to ensure that no one was within earshot of their conversation.
She closed the door when she was sure no one was there and made Lisa sit in a chair, she sat in front of her.
“Are you sure of what you are saying, Lisa?” Diana asked.
“I am Diana, why would I lie about something of this magnitude?” Lisa confirmed.
Diana paced her office as she thought about the situation at hand. She looked at her friend and could see that she was so worried. Why would she not be? Grayson had discarded her and now she found himself carrying his pup. What if he rejects the pup too?
Diana walked back to her friend, enveloping her in a comforting embrace, she solemnly said to her, “I swear by the Moon Goddess, I will make Grayson accept this pup.”
“Are you sure you can convince him?” Lisa asked.
“I will try my best to and if I cannot, I will report him to the council of elders,” Diana reassured.
“Council of elders! Oh no, Diana, that will make him hate me more,” Lisa exclaimed.
“Do you want to give birth to a bastard pup?” Diana inquired.
“No, please. I don't want to,” Lisa pleaded.
“Then leave everything to me, okay?” Diana said.
“Oh thank you, Diana. I knew I could count on you” Lisa said.
“Of Course, you can count on me,” Diana said, laughing as she lifted Lisa's face and added, “Now I want you to cheer up, don't look so gloomy. You know that will not be good for the pup you are carrying.”
Lisa nodded in agreement, wiping away her tears as a faint smile appeared on her lips.
“Now that's good girl, you are carrying my niece or nephew so I have to ensure you are always in good condition,” Diana said.

Evelyn woke with a start, her eyes widening in surprise as she found herself in a hospital bed. "Where am I?" she wondered, her heart racing in fear.
She saw Beta Luke, who was standing guard beside her. She could perceive his distinct wolf scent so she knew he was a wolf and that eased the tension in her body a bit.
“You are awake,” Beta Luke said to her as he approached the bed.
“Yes. Where am I?” She asked.
“Silvermoon Pack,” Beta Luke replied, studying her carefully.
“Silvermoon Pack?” She echoed, trying to recall where she had heard the Pack's name before.
“It is my turn to ask questions, girl,” Beta Luke asserted.
“Who are you and where are you from?” Beta Luke interrogated.
“My name is Evelyn Anderson and I am from Blackwood Pack,” She said.
“Blackwood pack? That's quite far from here,” Beta Luke said as he wondered why she had traveled so far away from home.
“Why did you leave your Pack? Did you decide to go rogue?” Beta Luke asked.
“No. I have no reason to go rogue. My pack was destroyed by werewolf hunters. They killed every wolf in my pack, my father sacrificed himself for me so I could escape. They chased me to the edge of a cliff and I had no choice but to jump off the cliff and now I found myself here,” Evelyn explained in tears.
“Werewolf hunters?” Beta Luke asked as his expression darkened. He recalled hearing about them – An organization made up of humans who mercilessly hunted down werewolf packs, leaving destruction in their wake. Their actions seemed driven by a vengeful vendetta, targeting werewolves with relentless determination.
“Yes,” Evelyn confirmed.
Beta Luke stared at Evelyn. His instincts told him she was telling the truth. If she was from Blackwood Pack then she couldn't be a spy because Blackwood Pack was not one of their rival packs but he still needed to confirm her story.
"What is the name of your Alpha?" Beta Luke questioned, aiming to verify her claim of belonging to the Blackwood Pack.
“Alpha Festus, I am his daughter” Evelyn answered.
Beta Luke nodded in agreement, she had answered correctly.
“You have to tell your story to our Alpha. He is the only one who could determine what we should do with you,” Beta Luke explained.
Beta Luke mind-linked Alpha Grayson and when the link was connected, he said to him. “The girl is awake, Alpha. You need to listen to her story. It is about those werewolf hunters you were planning to go against.”
Alpha Grayson closed the link immediately. Beta Luke knew he was already on his way. A Pack allied with Silvermoon Pack had fallen to the hands of the werewolf hunters and they had killed every member of the Pack before Grayson could get there. Since then he had been trying to locate them to go against them.
Alpha Grayson got to the hospital in no time but as he entered he could feel an alluring scent drawing him in.
His heart pounded in his chest as the strong scent of lavender and freesia enveloped his senses, causing the hairs on his body to stand. It was the most alluring scent he had ever perceived in all his life despite the number of girls he had slept with.
“What is this?” he said to himself, attempting to shrug off the sensation and continue on his way.
However, as he moved closer to the room Evelyn was admitted, the scent grew stronger and stronger.
Grayson's eyes blazed a fiery shade of red, reflecting the intense frustration of being unable to control his emotions.
He summoned all the courage he could muster to keep his body under control as he entered the room Evelyn was in.
However, as Grayson entered the room, he couldn't help but feel thunderstruck by the girl sitting on the bed. Her aura exuded a captivating beauty that he found both mesmerizing and unfamiliar.
His wolf, Kyle, jumped excitedly as he said the words Grayson had dreaded to hear all his life “Mate.”
The day finally came and the Silvermoon Pack's square was transformed into a magnificent wedding venue, adorned with flowers of every shade. White roses and lavender scattered through the air, their sweet scent mingling with the fresh breeze. The pack gathered around, their faces glowing with excitement as they eagerly awaited the ceremony.Evelyn stood at the front, her delicate frame wrapped in an elegant white gown, her hair styled in loose waves, a subtle crown of silver roses perched atop her head. Beside her stood Tara, her best friend, radiant in a pale lavender dress, and Diana, who was equally stunning as Tara. Both women smiled proudly at Evelyn, their eyes brimming with joy and support.Across from them, Grayson stood tall in his dark suit, his gaze locked on Evelyn. His heart pounded with every beat, and every fiber of his being screamed that this was right. At his side stood Beta Luke, his best man, looking at him with pride.Elder Bernard stood before the couple, rea
The pack members trooped out in their numbers to welcome Evelyn back to the pack.Grayson stood beside Evelyn, his arm gently resting around her waist, guiding her forward. The moment they reached the center of the gathering, cheers erupted from the pack. Faces that had once been filled with uncertainty and hesitation now glowed with excitement and admiration.“Tara!” Evelyn called out, her voice bright with joy as she spotted her friend among the crowd. Tara rushed over, her arms wide open, and they embraced each other tightly.“I can’t believe you’re back!” Tara exclaimed, pulling away slightly to look Evelyn over, her eyes welling with tears. “We missed you so much.”Evelyn smiled, squeezing Tara’s hands. “I missed you too, Tara. It feels good to be home.”“I'm glad the truth finally came out, Evelyn. I knew there was no way you would do what you were accused of,” Tara said.“Thank you, Tara. Thank you for believing in me,” Evelyn said, smiling as she hugged her friend again.Ta
The night stretched on as Grayson, Nix, and Luke kept their vigil by the burnt remains of Jerry’s car. The fire had long since dwindled, leaving only smoldering embers and charred metal. None of them spoke much, the weight of the night’s events keeping them silent. As the first rays of dawn broke through the trees, Grayson exhaled deeply, his sharp gaze still fixed on the wreckage. “It’s over,” he said quietly, his voice laced with finality. “Jerry’s gone.”Nix stretched his arms, yawning. “I’ll admit, I didn’t think the bastard would ever meet his end. But seeing this… yeah, he’s not crawling out of that one.”Luke grinned, patting Grayson on the back. “Well done, Alpha. That was one hell of a chase. I’ll never doubt your driving skills again.”Grayson smirked, finally stepping away from the ashes. “Let’s get back. We’ve been out here long enough.”They walked back to the car, the adrenaline of the night fading into exhaustion. Grayson slid into the driver’s seat, Nix and Luke ho
The roar of an engine pierced through the forest as Jerry sped down the dirt path, his hands gripping the steering wheel tightly. His eyes darted to the rearview mirror, scanning the darkness for any signs of pursuit. The night was thick, cloaked in shadows, and the dim headlights of his car barely illuminated the uneven forest trail. His pulse raced. He thought he had escaped until the unmistakable hum of another engine reached his ears, faint but growing louder.“Damn it,” Jerry cursed under his breath, glancing at the mirror again. The faint gleam of headlights in the distance confirmed his fears. “Can this bastard drive?” He muttered to himself. He slammed his foot on the accelerator, the car jerking forward as it sped along the rugged path.In the car behind, Grayson’s hands were steady on the wheel, his sharp eyes cutting through the night like a predator stalking its prey. The trees blurred past as he maneuvered skillfully, avoiding rocks and low-hanging branches with ease.
The chaotic roar of flames engulfed the camp as the hunters, determined to hold their ground, lit the perimeter on fire. Thick, choking smoke billowed into the air, a fiery orange glow illuminating the battlefield.Jerry barked orders amidst the chaos, his voice cold and commanding. “Hold the line! Don’t let the wolves take us down easily!”“We can’t let them escape!” Luke shouted, his voice cutting through the noise as he and his men charged forward.Hunters fired their weapons wildly, the sound of gunfire mingling with the guttural growls of wolves mid-shift. Nix’s warriors flanked the hunters, their speed and strength overpowering the disorganized defenses. In the chaos, Jerry’s sharp eyes caught sight of his car parked near the edge of the camp, half-hidden in the shadows of the surrounding trees. The faint glow of flames flickered against the vehicle's surface, and he clenched his jaw tightly, determination flashing in his gaze.“Time to live and fight another day,” he muttere
Shadows danced beneath the canopy as the afternoon sun slowly began its descent. Beta Luke led the group, his sharp eyes scanning the ground for any sign of movement or disturbance.Alpha Nix followed closely, his keen senses on high alert, with their men fanned out behind them.“Anything yet?” Nix asked, his voice steady but laced with urgency.“Not a damn thing,” one of the guards replied, frustration evident in his tone. “It’s like they vanished into thin air.”“They didn’t vanish,” Luke said sharply, crouching to inspect a patch of broken twigs. “They’re just good at covering their tracks. Keep looking. They can’t have gotten far.”Another guard called out from a few meters away. “Beta, over here! I think I’ve found something.”Luke and Nix moved quickly to the source of the voice. The guard was pointing to a faint trail of flattened grass leading deeper into the woods.“Looks like a footpath,” Luke muttered, crouching to get a closer look. He ran his fingers along the trampled g
