Zaire's face remained impassive as ever as he listened to Maya, but those words did seem to spike up his interest.

Something interesting that he would love?

His eyes searched her face and he cocked his eyebrows in amusement, despite his anger.

What on earth had she discovered about Romero that she thought was the greatest achievement?

Her eyes sparkled with determination, and he could see how eager she was.

"Is that so?" He drawled as he leaned forward with both hands clasped on the desk in front of him.

Maya nodded, eagerly, "Yes. This is something I can swear my life upon." She spoke with a confident tone, "Once you hear what it is I have to say, I'm sure you'll be able to handle it more better than me. This was why I knew I had to tell you this first."

Zaire was interested now, "What's your big information?" He asked, "Spit it out."

A slight smile curved Maya's lips, "Well, Noah..." she started saying but Zaire's voice cut her off in the next instant.
