Chapter Three Hundred And Three

Zair reclined comfortably in his seat as the men walked up to Maya and quickly loosened the tight ropes around her.

May breathed a sigh of relief as the ropes slid down her body and she sat up straighter.

She rubbed her sore wrists carefully as they untied it. Her entire arm up to the shoulder blades were aching and she felt like stretching over a million times to regain her body back.

As the men untied, she managed to catch some awed looks on their faces. They had been inside the room all along and saw when Maya was able to change Zaire's mind and get him to loosen her.

They felt it was very brave of her, but they did know how unpredictable Zaire could be.

He was like the predator who sometimes played with their food before gobbling it up.

"Just pray your luck don't run out," One of them whispered before they finally left her, and walked back to their previous positions.
