Chapter Three Hundred And Fifty-One

The guards took Vera outside the house and threw her to the grassy patch on the outside.

They threw her down in a not so gentle way, and Vera winced as her behind hit the ground hard.

She looked up at the men who had thrown her down. They had gone behind Lana, and now stood guard. Vera was seethiing in every part of her body, as she glared at Lana, hatred practically dropping from her eyes.

She stood up with difficult, holding on to her aching hips. Her dress was wrinkled by now from the fall, and she had lost one of her shoes.

She looked awful and Lana would have pitied her, had she not been so vile with her words earlier, attacking even an innocent child.

Vera scoffed as she stood up, "Why do I have to care about that bastard child?!" She reiterated with full force, making everyone around shake their heads in disappointment.

Some of the maids wished that Vera would just shut up to avoid getting more pushed by Lana, but a few were in Vera's side.
