Hidden secrets 1

The next morning, Alice groaned as she blinked her eyes open. Her body ached terribly and she felt like someone who had been run over by a truck.

"Hm...,wa...ter," She forcefully groaned out as she tried pushing herself off the bed. Despite not knowing if anyone was hearing her, Alice chose to try.

Immediately, scruffling noises was heard and the next minute, a glass of water was brought to her lips as her head was slightly tilted up.

Alice's eyes were to dull to take note of the figure feeding her with the water but from the scent of the person, she knew it was her mother.

After drinking mouthfuls of water to clear her perched up throat, Alice lay back on the bed. She soon felt a sharp pain at the back of her head making her wince and then, memories of the past night came back rushing into her head. Her body began shivering as the horror of the happenings last night came back taunting her.

"Shh...calm down. It's okay. They are not dead. You just have to calm down," Theresa murmured
