NOAH’S POV

I shifted further into the couch cushion, hugging my knees slightly as my two older brothers sat across from me, their gazes heavy with concern...well, Lucas's was more like accusation. His sharp green eyes bore into me like I'd committed a crime.

Okay, maybe I had…sort of.

I finished my classes earlier today and barely even spoke to Nathan. My mood was off...clouded, irritated, a swirl of emotions I couldn’t explain. When I got home, Lucas was already back, and judging by the look on his face, Gavin had filled him in about my “attitude” this morning.

Lucas finally cleared his throat, his deep voice laced with calm authority. “You might want to explain what happened here this morning while I was away.”

I nervously rubbed the back of my neck and looked up to meet his gaze. “I’m sorry,” I muttered, because honestly, that was all I could manage right now.

Gavin shifted closer to me and cupped my cheek with a warm hand. His eyes softened as they met mine. “Look here, Pookie. Yo

NOAH'S POVI gently twisted the doorknob, stepping into the lecture hall. Professor Parker, a middle-aged woman with a stern demeanor, stood in front of the class. It seemed like she was Professor Rex’s stand-in for the day. The moment I entered, all heads turned toward me, like I was some sort of celebrity, an outcast one, at that."You're late, Mr. Leister," Professor Parker’s voice was sharp, her eyes narrowing on me as she folded her hands behind her back."I know, Mrs. Parker. I apologize," I said quickly, offering a sympathetic look as I stepped further into the room. She gave me a quick, disapproving glare before turning her attention back to the class.I scanned the room, searching for my friends. Penny and Nathan were seated in the middle, but neither of them bothered to save a seat for me, as they usually did. I glanced at Penny, but she didn’t even look in my direction. She was obviously pissed. Sighing, I walked toward the empty seat I found at the back of the room, near

ARES’ POVThe moment I stepped out of my car, a wave of whispers rippled through the crowd of students like I was some sort of walking scandal. Again. I swear, these humans needed hobbies. Or maybe just better survival instincts. I growled inwardly, my expression remaining cold and unreadable. They always stared. Always whispered. And like always… I didn’t give a damn.Because I was looking for someone. My eyes swept the students in the hallway like a predator searching for its prey. And then...there he was.Little Leister. He stood a few feet away from me, frozen, his wide stormy-gray eyes locked onto mine. His lips parted slightly, like he’d forgotten how to breathe.A slow, crooked smirk tugged at the corner of my mouth.Damn, I loved how I always left him speechless. I stopped moving, standing still in the middle of the walkway as students parted around me like the Red Sea. My eyes never left his. I gave him the tiniest nod, and that was all the invitation he needed.Without h

  • UNTAMED FATE   CHAPTER SEVENTY-EIGHT

ARES’ POVThe grand doors of the Crescent Moon castle creaked open with a low, drawn-out groan, announcing the arrival of its Alpha King. It was well past midnight, and the moon hung heavy and low, casting pale blue light across the marbled floors and shadowed hallways. I stepped in, my boots echoing with each purposeful step. Everyone could feel it. The tension. The storm wrapped around me like a second skin.Eyes peered from the shadows, maids, guards, a few council members lingering past duty, but no one dared speak. Not to me. Not tonight. They wanted to gossip, whisper about my earlier outburst. But their lips were sealed behind forced bows and lowered gazes.Let them talk when I’m out of earshot. They know better than to do it here.I walked through the towering halls like a ghost haunting his own throne, my mind a whirlwind of things I didn’t want to feel. I reached my quarters and slammed the door shut behind me, the sound reverberating off the stone walls.I needed cold.I s

NOAH’S POVI stepped out of the bathroom, steam curling behind me like the remnants of a dream I couldn't quite remember. A fluffy white towel clung to my chest, my damp black hair dripping water down my bare shoulders. I moved lazily toward the mirror, my feet padding against the cold floor, and stared at the reflection that blinked back at me.Something was off.My stormy gray eyes looked more… haunted today. Shadowed. Like they’d seen something I wasn’t yet aware of. I lifted my hand slowly, eyes locked on the crescent moon and three stars etched into the skin of my left shoulder—faintly glowing like embers under the dim light. The mark had always been there. My brothers told me it was a birthmark. I never questioned it. But lately, it pulsed. As if it was alive. As if it was trying to wake something in me.I brushed my fingers over the symbol gently. It felt warm. Familiar. Almost sacred.A strange tightness loomed in my chest. My throat clenched. A whirlwind of emotions swirled i

  • UNTAMED FATE   CHAPTER SEVENTY-SIX

ARES’ POVI rose slowly, my every movement deliberate and heavy with meaning. The silence in the grand hall wrapped around me like a storm waiting to break. I turned to face the assembly....nobles, pack alphas and members, warriors, allies, council members...all seated in anticipation, many of them still holding onto glasses raised for a celebration that would never come.“Thank you all for coming,” I began, my voice steady, yet thrumming with anger. “I know you expected a coronation… a joyous union. But what you just witnessed was not a ceremony....it was the truth, unmasked.”Murmurs stirred the room, unsure and shifting. I raised my voice, letting my Alpha dominance thread through it.“Elsa is not my real mate. She is not my Luna. And she has never carried my child.”The room froze. Collective breath held. A few gasped audibly. Someone’s goblet clattered to the marble floor, shattering on impact.“I tolerated her lies because I had no other choice,” I continued, each word sharpen
