THE NEW FOUND LOVE

It had been a week since Dinny and the doctor had met.She tried in vain to forget about the handsome doctor.She imagined marrying him,having babies together.Her head was filled with all sorts of imaginations.She even imagined going on vacation with him.By now,she had completely forgotten about her coming wedding.Lebo had become a stranger in her heart.

At the hospital,the doctor also thought about Dinny.At first,he thought he would have forgotten about her by now but clearly his heart longed for her.It worried him that his heart betrayed him.He had sworn to himself that he would never fall for any of his patients.As a newbie in this career,his interest was only to focus on aquiring more knowledge.As the only graduate from his family,he wanted to make his grand parents proud.After all,they had brought him up after his mother abandoned him when he was just a few weeks old.

He wanted to text Dinny but he remembered her mother's words.After noticing them exchanging numbers,she secretly came back to the hospital and warned him to stay away from Dinny.She named him a destruction that will stop her from doing her wedding preparations.He was left heartbroken but at the end,he took courage to call Dinny and hear from the horse's mouth.He sat on his chair as he waited impatiently for her to pick his call.

Back at her home,Dinny somehow knew it was him who was calling."Hello stranger,how come you took so long to check on your patient?" she answered in a teasing tone.

That wasn't how he had expected her to answer the phone.His heart beat faster,he blushed upon hearing her sweet voice. "I was waiting for you to send me an invitation to your wedding.I guessed you are well healed since you are even getting married." He jealously responded.

Her eyes widened,she didn't know he was aware of her weeding.Luckily,she was quick to act.She decided to continue teasing him."You have just met me once,are you sure you are marrying me?" tell me,how do you expect me to invite you to your own wedding?"

The doctor ran completely short of words.He brushed his bold head with his hand as he tried to figure out how to respond to such madness."You know what,let me take you out on a date.I love my woman smelling nice,try your best to please me...oh,send me your location and il get someone to pick you in two hours time from now." He hung up before she could even say a word.That was his way of stopping her from rejecting his invitation.

She gently put her phone down on her bed.She was too excited she went straight to her closet to check on what she could wear.She carefully picked a red long dress that exposed her curves.Her intention was to dress to impress.She wanted to wear something that will sit so well on her that it wouldn't leave his mind.She also had to smell nice,the doctor made this clear to her.After arranging her attire she send him her location on w******p.

After sending the message,it was only then she came back to her senses.She wondered how the doctor had found out about her coming wedding.She began feeling a bit stressed,wondering if this could be a trap.What if Lebo was aware that she is avoiding him after she agreed to be his wife?What if the doctor was one of Lebo's friends who was helping him prove that she isn't miss goody two shoes after all?

Honestly speaking,Lebo hadn't been an angel in thier affair but she never wanted to be caught cheating.If he had to pay,it shouldn't be this way.To add more,she wasn't playing here,she was genuinely falling for this handsome doctor.It would be a pity if he was playing around.She was now discouraged to meet him but how was she going to find out about how he knew she was preparing for a wedding?She had to find out sooner just incase she was being played.

A girl on a mission has to be a step ahead.Maybe she must do a background check on this doctor before she falls for his trap.Just when she was about to text Greg,her anonymous friend who usually helps her with IT staff,her phone rang.It was the doctor.

"Hey handsome!missing my voice already?"She teased him.Dinny was good at this teasing game.Most men fell for it.On the other side of the line,the doctor was already blushing.

"I only called to let you pick where you would want us to have our date.I forgot to ask you when I first called you."

"Please surprise me sir.Allow me to prepare myself then.See you there!"She ended the call.Her heart skipped joyfully.No matter how much she wished to ignore how she felt about him,she couldn't.There was something about this doctor that made her insanely inlove with him.

It wasn't only her with such a feeling.He felt the same way too.He was even determined to beg her to cancel this wedding her mother told her about.Dinny's mother named him a destruction but it seemed like Dinny loved this destruction.On the other hand,he felt guilty for disrespecting Dinny's mother's wishes.One way or another,he had to be her son in law.

By now,his shift was almost over.After work,he was to drive home and freshen up.His driver was also prepared to go and pick Dinny from her home.Just when he was about to walk out of his office door,the door swung open.He stepped back in disbelief.There stood two women outside,accompanying this one that looked like a mentally disturbed woman.

"Hloni my son!I have been searching for you for so many years." The woman walked towards him with her arms wide open,signaling she wanted a hug.The doctor was forced to give her a hug.It was the first time he met this woman yet he felt a strong connection between them.She had the same birth mark he also had on his forehead.Was this woman his long lost twin?No it couldn't be.She was old enough to be his mother.

The surprising part was,his grandparents told him his mother abandoned him months after his birth then disappeared without a trace.If this was her then he wondered why she had come back now.This wasn't the right time for this woman to show up.Now his mind was all over the place,it even slipped his mind that he was on his way out to freshen up before going on a date with Dinny.

As soon as he remembered,he rushed towards the door. "Sorry ma,I think you got the wrong guy.My name isn't Hloni.Let me walk you out because there's somewhere I have to rush to." She held her by her arm without even giving her a chance to explain herself,locked the door then left the three women standing there.
