In one week I changed back to my old self. I buried myself in work to avoid being distracted, haven't gone home for the past one week and refused to pick all calls that isn't work related.

I haven't spoken to Emma since her birthday. I sent her things over through Donald and have banned security from letting her into my house or my company.

My office line rang which got me out of my thinking state. I answered and waited for the caller to say something "Tob... I" Emma's voice said at the other end.

I had almost hanged up when I heard her speak up again "please just hear what I have to say and I promise I'll leave you alone"
