Wedding in Lavamore: Part IX

Archie was buttoning Dylan's dress.

"I didn't hear the door being unlocked… did they forget us?" Dylan asked as Archie buttoned his dress.

"I didn't hear either… maybe they unlocked the door while we were distracted."

"It's possible..."

"I'll see as soon as I'm done here..."

"Alright."

Archie finished buttoning the dress.

"Done!"

"Thank you," Dylan said, sitting down in front of the mirror.

Archie headed for the door, grabbed the doorknob, and tried to open the door.

Unlike earlier, at that moment the door opened.

"It's open..." Archie said, peeking outside.

Dylan sighed, "What a relief..." he clutched at his chest.

"This floor is empty…" said Archie looking around.

Dylan was still there combing his hair.

Archie stopped at the foot of the door, leaning his arm on the knob.

He saw Dylan combing his hair while being very focused. He cracked a smile.

"Do you want me to wait for you or can I go ahead and meet me in the carriage?"
