When Eon returned to the small receiving area of the cabin, Alpha Aaron was quietly drinking his tea. If he didn’t know that the Deep Forest pack was attacked and his father’s pack successfully defended his pack and his position as an Alpha, he would have been able to draw a strong alliance with the two packs in his borders, and a successful Turning ceremony. Eon would not know that his father was bone-tired. That he was just keeping it together but he had to take care of a lot of things and be able to make a sensible decision for the well-being of all the wolves of the Deep Forest pack.
