Ferris Wheel of Fortune
With Max cuddled up next to me, the two of us enjoyed the slow rising movement of the Ferris wheel. As more of the beach and sea came into view, I couldn’t help but wonder what it would be like if I could live as a human in this place.
It was a fanciful dream, but I knew I could not give up my Godhood and remain here as a human. It was a feat impossible for anyone, even a God.
No. I had to stop thinking such depressing thoughts. Max and I were here to enjoy ourselves, and that’s what I should focus on now more than ever.

It had been centuries since my father and I had come here, but there should have been no reason for it to change when it was the spot where the spirits were always at their strongest.
