The Whimpering Deer

The scent of blood was strong as I travelled through the alleyways. I noticed several people with dazed looks, anyone else and it would have looked like drunkards asleep there but not to me. Rakesh really was feasting as though he were starving. I was surprised he had been able to hold back from finishing off each person.

When I finally found him, he was almost keeled over, holding his mouth and looking rather rabid. I had never seen Rakesh like this before. He was alone and looked like he was going to throw up any second. He noticed me straight away and flashed those silver eyes at me in a warning. "Come no closer," he uttered towards me with a slight feral growl.

"Rakesh..." I said softly I was worried about him. "Come back to the hotel with me, please?" I asked, not wanting anyone to see him here like this. He looked terrible. Rakesh shook his head at me and uttered another warning growl and his eyes flashed again. I wasn't scared.

"It's alright,"
