The entire ride to the store was awkwardly silent. Frank said nothing because he wasn't someone who spoke much and Jennifer too remained silent. After all, she was anxious as hell. She wordlessly followed Frank when Mike pulled in front of the store.
Mike watched how Jennifer obediently followed his boss. He had been stealing glances at them during the ride from the rearview mirror, amused by the fact that Frank seemed to be looking out for the girl. She was brought to his mansion as a prisoner and was supposed to be used as bait, however, destiny had other plans. He understood why he was putting up this act in front of his father and cousin. However, he didn't have to put up the same act when they weren't around. Cackling, he drove towards the parking area of the store to wait for his boss, and his 'girl'.
