Carl anxiously watched as the boys put her into the backseat of his Range Rover. He had parked his car on the narrow street behind the mall, where it was abandoned. Most people preferred to avoid the narrow alleys fearing the possibility of being mugged or attacked by any criminal waiting in ambush, which made it the perfect place for his gang to carry out their task.
"Quick! Todd didn't want any mistakes," Carl exhorted impatiently.
"You want us to follow?" One of them asked as he closed the door.
"Yes. In case she wakes up. The drive isn't a long one. But I need two of you to hold her down until we reach our destination."
Bobbing their heads, two of them climbed in while the others walked away.
