Jed took a deep breath before glancing at Kael.

Truly, Kael’s behavior towards packs – whether small or big – remained the same. They didn’t change over the years. What’s more, they seemed to be only getting worse.

Jed clenched and unclenched his hands while taking more deep breaths. He tried different ways to improve the alpha prince’s condition but he failed again and again. Over the years he realized there was simply nothing that could change him.

Kael wouldn’t change, no matter if he was delighted, in the mood, or had found interesting toys or not. Even towards that slave…

A small glint flashed through Jed’s eyes as he remembered Naya, Kael’s recently found toy.

That rogue was going to have a taste of what it was like to be Kael’s possession now.

Would she finally understand her position? Jed wondered. She didn’t look like she would break easily.

Kael was aiming to make her surrender… or was that his real purpose?
