Yvonne woke up and discovered that she was in her car, realizing she had slept off in the car she quickly turned the ignition on but then paused, she looked confused as she stared at the road, she turned the ignition off after looking out the window in shock, she was surprised to see that she was parked right in front of her gate. She began wondering how she got there, she remembered she fell asleep by the side of the road but doesn’t recall her driving to the gate; she never took drugs or smoked weed.

“Or could it have been the stranger?” she said to herself. She was getting more confused, or maybe it was the slap James gave to her that made her see things but her arrival at the gate was not an imagination. She stepped out of the car looked around and saw a petty store few meters from her car, she decided to ask the lady there how she got here—pretty weird I know

“Hello excuse me” she said

“ Hey hello” the lady replied

“Please I want to ask you something”

“Ok no problem”

“Please ehnm” she hesitated “Who drove me here?” she asked. The lady looked confused

“I don’t understand what do you mean by who drove you here?” the lady replied, Yvonne was confused

“I'm sorry” she said and was about to leave

“You were in the car with a guy or maybe your boyfriend or don’t you know your boyfriend. I don’t know or were you drugged or what” the lady said gesticulating. Yvonne paused

“Sorry but am not feeling well but did you say you saw a man in my car?” she asked. The lady was thinking maybe Yvonne was doing drugs

“Of cause you were with a man. Am I the one who’s going to tell you the man you were with. You should know him” she said

“I’m sorry” Yvonne said and walked to her car. Now she was convinced it was the stranger

“But how was that possible?” she thought to her self

“I was on the wheels” she said. She felt she needed some good rest, so she walked into the compound leaving the car outside...

Audrey drove straight to her boutique, as she walked in she met Gerry sitting in her office waiting for her. Gerry was a guy of 35 years who was in love with Audrey but she wasn’t interested in him, she said he was too old. She prefers relationship with younger boys.

“What are you doing here?” Audrey said as the dropped her bag and sat down

“Hello Audrey” he said smiling

“You need to stop this and don’t smile at me… I asked you a question” she said as she got up again walking to the door

“Audrey Please we need to talk” he said

“God damn it. What do you want from me?” she stopped and turned

“Audrey you know what I want” he said standing up

“I don’t” she folded her arms, he walked towards her

“Don’t Come near me” she said and he stopped

“Audrey I love you genuinely” he said.

His eyes expressed how real he was with her but she didn’t care

“I can’t love you… how many times do you want me to say it?” she replied, not even an atom of regret in her eyes as she stared plainly at him

“Audrey” he said taking a deep breath

“Please give me a chance” he said

“No I can’t, I love someone else” she said immediately

“Audrey, you are going out with a boy you are way older than, I am a man who can take care of you, I am a man who can show you love more than small boys” he said and she took offense to that

“I don’t need you to care for me, I can care for myself”

“Audrey We are both mature adults who should know what we want… You deserve better than that boy” he said

“Really? Ok I think you should get out now… even if I wanted better definitely not you” she said and he felt hurt

“Audrey listen” he tried to speak

“Get out now” she said angrily

“Audrey please”

“Get out” she said, it was quite embarrassing because so many people were there. He walked out got into his car & drove off. She walked into her office and closed the door. . . .

Max climbed down the stairs fast with a file in his hand, he adjusted his tie and made for the door, when he saw his wife sitting down looking unhappy; he paused and walked towards her, he sat beside her

“It’s a new day Love” he said

“It isn’t to me”

“What do you mean?”

“It’s the same old day”

“What are you talking about?”

“If it’s a new day we should be having something new may be a child” she said; this was a weird behaviour because just yesterday she put up this attitude and today she wears it again

“I thought we had passed this stage” he said

“Stage? IS that what you call it? This is our marriage we’re talking about not a life cycle” she said angrily as she got up

“So what do you want me to do?”

“Be a man do what men do” she said

“I see I think you are losing it… what the hell is wrong with you? We had this damn fight last night and here you are bringing it up again… and it’s high time you watch your over driven mouth” he was clearly pissed

“Really? You think I am losing my mind? Well not just yet… this is the reason why women cheat on their husbands” she said and walked away. Max was so angry at her for what she had just altered and it was a misguided utterance indeed, without any more words he left the house—somehow Maria knew that she had done the worse this time.
