LOGINOne of Thorne's helpers was Josh. He was quite astonished to see Charlene's letter of resignation. He was among the few people in the firm who knew about the relationship between Thorn and Charlene. Thorne's heart wasn't truly with Charlene, as anybody who knew him well would know. Thorne showed little interest in her after they were married and hardly ever returned home. Charlene chose to work for the Henderson Group in an effort to grow closer to and eventually win over Thorne. Her first objective was to work as Thome's assistant. Thorne, however, didn't agree.
Thorne was unmoved, not even by Neal Henderson's intervention. Finally, Charlene was forced to accept a job in the secretarial division as one of Thorne's several secretaries. Josh first feared turmoil would result from Charlene's presence in the department. However, the result was surprising. Although she understood when to stop and never went too far, Charlene utilized her position to approach Thorne. Charlene worked hard and showed extraordinary abilities, possibly in an effort to win Thorne over.
She followed business rules during her pregnancy and delivery and didn't ask for special treatment. Charlene became the leader of the secretarial department over time. Charlene's affection for Thorne had always been apparent to Mosh. Josh was taken aback by Charlene's resignation. He simply couldn't comprehend her leaving on her own initiative. Josh reasoned that Thorne must have demanded Charlene's departure because of some unidentified problem between them. Josh handled things professionally, despite his sadness at losing a skilled worker like Charlene.
"I've accepted your resignation letter, and I'll arrange for someone to take over your duties as soon as possible." "Okay, thanks." After giving a nod, Charlene went back to her work.
Josh kept himself occupied and then posted a report about the job to Thorne's website. He recalled Charlene's resignation when they were almost done. "Oh, Mr. Henderson, about—" He wanted to find out Thorne's plans for the precise time Charlene should depart, even if he had promised to set up a successor for her shortly. If Thorne wanted Charlene gone by tomorrow, he would make the arrangements right away. However, just as he opened his mouth to respond, he recalled Thorne's instruction upon Charlene's employment that Charlene-related issues would be handled in accordance with corporate policy without having to be reported to him directly. Thorne refused to get involved.
In fact, Thorne never asked Charlene about her at the workplace throughout the years. He treated Charlene like a complete stranger whenever he saw her at work. Charlene's performance over the years made her stand out. They had even brought it up to Thorne a few years before to a scheduled promotion, implying that they would drop the subject if he protested, given Thorne's disdain for Charlene. With a grimace, Thorne hurriedly reiterated that he would not meddle and told them to adhere to the future policy of Charlene's affairs. Seeing Josh hesitate, Thorne frowned. "What is it?" Josh snapped back to reality and said, "Nothing."
The fact that Thorne had previously heard about Charlene's departure but had not mentioned it himself suggested that he didn't care about it. Josh made the decision to follow corporate policy and carry on as usual. Josh then stopped talking about it. The video call was cut off by Thorne. "What are you thinking about?"
Granger was a little let down when he learned he couldn't attend Daisy's birthday, but he did receive the photo. He said, "It's okay, work comes first." Daisy will comprehend. Charlene had just completed getting ready after hanging up when her phone chimed once more. Granger's phone made the video call. Daisy was the only one who would video call Granger using her phone.Daisy's face instantly dominated the screen when Charlene responded. Charlene smiled warmly, but before she could say anything, Daisy said, "Good morning, Ms. Ross!I was informed by my uncle that you are unable to attend my birthday tomorrow. That's alright. We can celebrate on another day if you're busy right now. "Without waiting for Charlene to answer, Daisy went on, "Uncle said you're baking me a cake and you got me some other gifts too," since she had to leave for school shortly. Ms. Ross, thank you! Grandma says you should invite someone over for dinner if they offer you a present. The food at this recently laun
After missing Granger's call a few days prior, Charlene picked up her phone and gave him a call back. She asked him nonchalantly if he needed anything. "Oh, Daisy just wanted to video chat with you," Granger retorted. Nothing pressing. Granger and Charlene didn't stay on the call because they both had things to do. Charlene hung up, picked up her car keys, and went downstairs to drive to the workplace. She happened to arrive at the workplace parking lot almost simultaneously with Stewart Ferguson. "Back already?"Stewart asked with a smile as he got out of his car and saw her. "Yes," Charlene said, grinning back. Vesta was riding shotgun when Thorne's car drew up just as she finished speaking. Thorne parked directly in front of Charlene and Stewart rather than going into the garage. He and Vesta both exited, saying, "Good morning, Mr. Ferguson." Stewart's smile dimmed a little. He whispered to himself, "What rotten luck," ignoring Vesta and Thorne as he dragged Charlene with him.Stew
When York saw her, he was a little surprised. "Ms. Ross?" Charlene asked, nodding. "Hello." York smiled and said, "Are you here to work at the base, Ms. Ross?" Charlene shook her head and said, "No, I'm just here to help out with something on my professor's behalf." York stopped to consider what she had said. Only a small number of personnel were authorized to allow outsiders to enter the base. It all made sense given Charlene's intimate but strictly platonic relationship with Stewart. "Your professor... is Mr. Kenton Wagner?" he inquired. With a nod, Charlene said, "That's right." Like Stewart, she was a pupil of Kenton. York had never considered that. But suddenly it made sense. For example, Stewart had complimented her work on PrimeStar Technologies' most recent project at an earlier event. Or why, at both his grandfather's art exhibition and the business-government meeting Dalton Ramirez attended, his father gave her extra attention. She must have been a pupil of Kenton's all alo
Dramatic? What sort of drama? And where am I able to see it? "This is Starfall's conventional theater production. It's unlikely that you will enjoy it. Gaylord's curiosity darkened his gaze. "Don't be so certain. Even though I was raised overseas, I've always been curious about my native culture. simply never had the opportunity. "With a sigh, Charlene realized she needed to explain. Gaylord swiftly boarded his Neural Nexus Tech and purchased tickets online after listening to her. A friend contacted him a little later. How about we get together tonight, Mr. Hearst? I apologize. I already have plans. Charlene, meanwhile, was overburdened with work until midday after concluding her conversation with Gaylord. She abruptly realized Daisy's birthday was approaching as she looked at her calendar. After giving it some thought, she called Granger. Granger had always desired a closer relationship with Charlene. He was even more excited now that he knew Gaylord was interested in her. But other
The practice race was ready to begin when they found their seats. York and Kelvin didn't really know who to support because they had never been involved in racing. However, they discovered that vehicle number 38, driven by CC, and a few other racers were the favorites to win after watching for a while and listening to the announcer. The turn of events? In the competition, CC was the only female competitor. She had, of course, drawn a lot of the audience's attention.Particularly after CC made two amazing overtakes around the turns, leaving everyone in awe. "Wow, that's gutsy!" exclaimed Kelvin. Amazing! Knowing that Kelvin was unaware that CC was truly Vesta, Dalton laughed to himself. In both practice races, CC won first place. Excited beyond belief, Kelvin exclaimed, "Who is this CC anyway? I must see her." The television displayed "CC" getting out of her automobile and taking off her helmet as soon as he was done talking. Kelvin's eyes were wide with shock upon realizing CC was Ves
Dalton's eyebrows wrinkled instinctively as soon as he saw Charlene. He hadn't seen her since Thorne had gone to PrimeStar to see Charlene some time ago. He had heard reports that Thorne and PrimeStar were working together, but he wasn't totally sure what had happened between Charlene and Thorne since then. He couldn't help but wonder whether Thorne and Charlene had taken advantage of this to become closer. Dalton didn't say anything, but Charlene could tell what was on his mind by the furrow in his forehead when he spotted her.Charlene hopped into her car and sped off without even saying hello. After watching her go, Dalton got into his own vehicle and returned to the office. He and the Hawkins family were in the midst of discussing a contract. His secretary entered at around 3 PM and announced, "Mr. Ramirez, Ms. Hawkins has arrived." Dalton hesitated. "Ms. Hawkins?" he repeated. "Yes," his secretary said. "Ms. Hawkins said Mr. Hawkins has caught a cold, so she'll be taking over the
Charlene was not at all shocked to see that Vesta had picked up the phone. She and Thorne were almost inseparable, after all. What if she picked up Thorne's phone? Charlene said calmly, "I'm looking for Thorne." "He's taking a shower," Vesta said icily, identifying Charlene's voice on the other end

Charlene's coworkers were frightened as she spoke, looked at Vesta, and quickly retreated to rest against the wall. Intimidated.
