With infrequent encounters over the years, Stewart and Charlene had grown distant from one another. However, despite these fleeting interactions, Stewart could sense that Charlene's once-vibrant spirit had significantly diminished. It was impossible for him to imagine Charlene, who was a formidable force in her prime, could ever be linked to the term "insecure." The details of Charlene's marriage to Thorne were not known to Stewart, but he had heard enough to develop his suspicions. He gave Charlene some serious advice without going into specifics: "Charlene, it doesn't really matter if you fall behind for a while.

You possess abilities and skills that are not typical. If you're still enthusiastic about this route, it's never too late to start afresh. Remember that during his teaching career, the professor was most proud of you as a student. At that, Charlene laughed. "If our professor heard that, he'd probably scoff, saying he was picking the tallest dwarf. " Charlene's smile dimmed as she thought about their civilized yet sardonic lecturer. Charlene chuckled as her heart grew heavy with longing for the time they had spent studying under their professor and putting in endless hours on research papers. She enjoyed the field of artificial intelligence and developed a passion for it early in life. However, she had given up on her aspirations for over seven years because of her love for Thorne. It would definitely take some time to catch up after such a long absence. Charlene thought it was still feasible, though, if she worked for it. "When do you plan on coming back?" Stewart asked, "I must turn in my ongoing work. It might take some time.

"That's okay," Stewart responded. There's no hurry. If she were willing to come back, there was no problem with waiting a little longer. "A friend introduced me to a genius in algorithms who just returned to town," Stewart said, looking at his watch after continuing the conversation. We are planning to meet shortly. Why don't you join me now that you're here?" Charlene gave a headshake. "Your team is unfamiliar to me. Perhaps next time. Charlene: Stewart grinned and said, "Sure thing." Charlene noticed Thorne's sister, Tiffany Henderson, coming as soon as Stewart had departed. Charlene hadn't anticipated seeing her there, but she had seen her on the news. "Hi, Tiffany. Tiffany didn't answer right away.

"What are you doing here?" she said, her brows pinched. Charlene, "I came for the Starlight University anniversary celebration," she said. It seems that Tiffany had overlooked the fact that Charlene had also graduated from Starlight University. With the exception of academics and current students, the day was reserved for recognized graduates who had been invited by the institution. To Tiffany, Charlene was just another graduate with no noteworthy accomplishments. Tiffany chose not to think about it.

She didn't care that Charlene would humiliate the Henderson family by speaking out of turn. Tiffany declared her intentions rather clearly, thinking about her kid. "He said he misses your cooking, Cain. Later, I'll arrange for the driver to drop Cain off at your and Thorne's houses. " Tiffany's son Cain, who was two years older than Jasmine, had become more disobedient as a result of his parents' tense relationship and Tiffany's demanding work schedule. Tiffany had been inviting Cain around whenever she could because she knew he liked Charlene's home-cooked meals.
