Chapter 10

“What next?” Damian asked me. We had been playing Never Have I Ever for over fifteen minutes, and had run out of questions. It did discover a few things about him though, like he had never been drunk, he had never cheated on a girl before, and he was always serious about any relationship he was getting into.

I gave him a corky smile “Can I ask you something?”

“Sure, go ahead,” he urged.

“Don’t be offended,” I said.

“Go ahead,”

“How old are you?” I asked, a little shy. He burst into laughter, making me feel embarrassed.

“Stop laughing,” I commanded, but he didn’t.

“I’m sorry,” he apologized after a while, starting to cough “Why do you want to know how old I am?”

“Just to know, but it's fine if you don’t want to tell”

“I’m 25,” he said, “What about you?” he asked.

“22,” I replied.

“Okay cool,” he said “Satisfied?”

“Yeap”

“Should we continue with the games?” he asked, eyebrow raced.

“That’s fine by me. What should we play next?”

“I suggested the first, now is your turn,” he said.
