Chapter 13: Beautiful Lily

"Linda, what do you think?" Amber asked as she twirled around. Loving her new dress. A white skater dress with puffed sleeves. There were floral designs of a lily on the dress.

"You look absolutely stunning, dear!" Linda said with a sparkle in her eyes.

"Thanks. I should go now. Where is the box?"

Linda gave her a box wrapped in a bento-like cloth. Amber placed it inside a lunch bag and made sure everything was complete.

Amber waved the housekeeper a good bye and took a cab towards Max's company.

The Easton building was as tall as it's surrounding buildings. Everytime she looked at it. She'll always be left mesmerized by it's sheer height.
