VERONICA POV 15

I immediately walked to the door to open it and Mildred came up to me with a smile.

"I'm sorry to disturb you Nica, I lost my phone.I can't contact my husband.Can I borrow your phone? ”Mildred gently asked me.

"Y..yes of course" I stammered and handed the phone to her.

I looked at Tyler but he averted his eyes from me and turned his back on me. I just gasped at what he did. Mildred was very happy to return my phone because she got along with her husband. She hurried to leave while I was left behind and alone in the living room.I saw Tyler on the veranda and we'd better avoid each other.

I also don't want our argument to escalate just because he wants me to get pregnant with someone else.He just doesn't know how my conscience feels every time we face his father. Because I know everything we say is lies and full of pretense.
