Bianca came down from her car with such brute force that the air around her stiffened as she took heavy and precise steps towards the entrance of the shop.“Good morning, madam.” Ivy greeted, just as Bianca stepped in, alone.“In the office, now,” Bianca said, coldly, without sparing Ivy a glance.Ivy swallowed hard, fidgeting with her fingers, staring at Bianca’s back as she silently followed behind her, in uncertainty.“Shut the door behind you,” Bianca ordered, resting in her chair.Ivy slowly did, as instructed. There was an awkward silence for a while between the two, as Ivy caned her neck, not meeting Bianca’s eyes. The air seemed stuffy for Ivy, and she unbuttoned the neck button of her shirt to let in a little air, even though the room was quite cozy.Ivy could feel Bianca’s rage, and she closed her eyes, silently praying not to be involved.“I see you’ve finally gotten rid of that dress.” Bianca’s voice broke the stillness.Ivy flinched, “Y…yes, madam. Aurora’s gift was a thick glass frame, and in it was the 3D print of a clear view of a man, seated with his back to the world, and also seated beside him was the glowing outline of a little girl’s back. Together, they gazed at the sky, filled with the radiant light of the Aurora.Just underneath the frame was a wooden base, and etched on it was a writing that read:‘I am not there to wish you a happy birthday, but know that I am always with you.’And a handwritten note that read: ‘You are the best thing that has ever happened to me, happy birthday, Father.’He cried, as memories of Azalea flooded his mind.Years ago….Brynn had taken his kids out with him for a business meeting, as they both loved to follow him to meetings. After the end of that long session, Brynn had decided to take them out for a refreshing treat.Azalea’s feet couldn’t catch up with Brynn’s, so he decided to carry her in his arms, with Luke silently following the family.“What about me?” Little Theodore asked, itc

“True, but my mother is the mansion’s butler.”“Such courage, to not deny your mother even though she works a lowly job.” Powell whispered to Phil, “I like her already.’“I trust the household is treating you well?” Aurora smiled.“Lovely. If you’d excuse me, I need to meet my husband, but enjoy the rest of the evening, sweet.”“You too, ma’am.”Powell turned to Phil, gave him a thumbs up, and mouthed “The best choice.” before walking away.“She’s a sweet, young woman,” Aurora said.“Yeah, she is,” Phil said, “They came in with the twins five minutes ago.”“Your sisters seem fun.”“Don’t let their charms fool you, those 9-year-old twins are hell.”“But you love them.”“I’d kill for them.”“I'm leaving now, Luke,” Brynn said, “Take care of the guests.” Luke bowed, and Brynn left.Aurora, who figured Brynn was leaving, quietly followed behind him.Brynn, smelling Aurora, but unsure of her intentions, calmly entered his room.Aurora gently placed a medium-sized package in front, then kn

“My princess,” He halted. “Will you please excuse me? I have to meet someone.”“Okay then.”“But it was lovely doing this with you.”“Same here.” She chuckled, and Brynn kissed the back of her hand before leaving.“My turn,” Phil said, walking towards Aurora.Ingrid had joined her group of elite friends, and they discussed random things.“I can’t stop looking at her, Lulu.” Bella admired, “Look at her dress, who’s she wearing?”“I have been trying to hold myself from going to meet her since she walked in,” Lucy said.“Who is she, though?” Trina asked.“She’s the daughter of Theodore’s butler, a nobody.” Ingrid said, smirking, “But if you care about what I’m wearing, this is ‘A Star Named Unique’, by The Cloth Shaman.”She chuckled, “Because that’s what I am.”“I can’t lie,” Lucy said, “You look amazing.”Ingrid smiled, eyeing Aurora’s glowing dress.“Can we focus on something else now?”As they continued to discuss, Aurora and Phil walked towards them“They’re coming.” Lucy squealed s
