Chapter 49

Sean waited for Angel outside the operating room. Doctor Russell explained that Angel had to undergo emergency surgery because her condition was more severe than expected. It's been three hours everyone waiting anxiously. Anne and Harvey were in shock, as was Suki who was crying in David's arms. Meanwhile Sean could only sit in a wheelchair with a blank stare. They are busy with their own thoughts, but still hope for the same thing; Angel can survive.

"Is this little girl your family?" A woman's voice interrupted the silence of the operating room. They turned their heads, and didn't realize that Harriet hadn't been with them all this time. Their minds are very messy.

"Harriet!" Sean screamed in panic.

"I found her in front of the automatic drink machine." A young woman hands a sleeping Harriet over to Harvey. "I just happened to see her with you in the emergency room."

"Thank you." said Harvey.
