Chapter 6

"Angel, thank you for coming. We're glad you still remember this campus." Said a college student.

"You're welcome. I'm also happy to be here again."

This is the first time I have been invited to speak as a writer at my campus. A campus that leaves a lot of memories. It's hard for me to forget everything that happened here.

After the event, I said goodbye and decided to take a look around. A group of campus students are discussing as well as joking, it reminds me of my youth. I majored in law, just like Sean. Our difference is that I am busy working and studying to maintain my scholarship. Whereas Sean, the man from the rich class, only knew to have fun by making jokes at me.

Ah, Sean.

It's been a year since we had a big fight in David's office. Since then I never saw him again. I heard from Harvey that Sean didn't return to their parents' house. Neither of us can reach him. Yes, I did call Sean, but his cell phone was always off. However I want to apologize for my harsh words when we fought. Unfortunately, Sean left, and I don't know where he is right now.

My footsteps ended in the locker hallway. I found number 23 which was my old locker. Again, I remembered Sean's behavior. It's not the sweet things he puts in, but rather animals or things that are disgusting.

"Hey, you covered my locker." Someone tapped me on the shoulder, and I turned my head. Apparently I was blocking the view of a college student.

"Sorry." I automatically back off, then the girl immediately opened her locker. There is written the name Nancy.

"It's okay. My locker does have magic anyway."

"Magic?"

The black-haired girl took several books from inside the locker, then slammed down hard. "Rumor has it that there used to be a handsome man who was crazy about the owner of this locker. A nerdy girl."

Really? I never heard those rumors before.

Nancy stepped forward toward me. "Are you curious?"

I looked at her confused. Okay, this is pretty annoying, but I wonder what happens next. Handsome man? Nerd girl? Who are they?

"Yes. Then what happened?"

She leaned her back against the locker and grinned. I can tell that she is a gossipy extrovert.

"Baby?" A familiar voice sounded as someone hugged me. Harvey. Gosh, we promised to meet at the campus auditorium earlier. He must be looking for me everywhere. "I've finally found you."

"Sorry, I forgot you were going to pick me up." I said as I put my arm around Harvey's waist.

"You must have missed it when you were in college. It's okay." Harvey smiled, then noticed someone in front of me and stretched out his hand. "Hello, I'm Angel's husband. You must be Angel's friend."

The girl stopped chewing her gum and stood up straight. Her eyes stared at me and Harvey as if something was wrong with us.

"Are you really that nerdy girl Angel?" Whispered the girl. "Then your husband's name must be Se ---"

"Harvey. I'm Harvey Ackles." My husband said.

"Ackles? Oh, my God! This is the ending I didn't expect." She kept screaming.

I fearfully took Harvey's hand so we could leave now. The young girl in front of us really made me uncomfortable.

"Wait, don't you want to know the rest of my story?" Asked the girl as Harvey and I turned around. "The handsome guy and the nerdy girl are not together! There was a misunderstanding between them! But now you can choose a different ending! It's up to you!"

----

At 7 pm Harvey and I arrived home. Previously we had time to shop for dinner ingredients at the supermarket. Let's forget about Nancy trying to get in my head.

'There is a misunderstanding between them.'

Oh, but those words kept repeating in my mind!

My heart seemed to fall out when I was about to open the door, realizing that my house was unlocked. As far as I can remember, I locked everything this morning. Gosh, what's wrong with me?

I walked in while leaving the front door open, because Harvey needed to carry another bag of groceries. Suddenly I heard an object that fell and broke. Is there a thief in my house?

When I was about to scream, I first heard someone moan. Convinced that the voice came from the living room, I became even bolder. The next second my body froze. The grocery bag I was holding fell. For God's sake, I hope I can get rid of this disgusting sight soon! One year Sean disappeared and made his parents worry half to death. Suddenly he appeared while having sex with a girl in my house!

The girl under Sean watched me. She pushed Sean's body and got up from the sofa. Sean turned his head at me, then grinned. His hair has reached his shoulders now. He looked messier than I last remembered. Yes, I miss Sean, but I didn't expect a dirty encounter at all!

"Sean Ackles! What are you doing?!"

That's Harvey. He's more in shock than me.

---

Harvey asked me to meet Sean and his girlfriend. Oh, girlfriend? I have met her. I even found out that Sean's girlfriend got breast implants and a nose job. Didn't I already know too much at our first meeting?

"Yes, they were wrong, but they were just having fun."

I looked at my husband in disbelief. Harvey is a good man. I mean, we didn't have sex before we were officially married, in fact we only kissed on our first night. And what did he just say? Just having fun? Is he kidding?

"At least they have to hold back their lust. Sex on the sofa? Jeez, that ---" I raised my hands in the air after not knowing what to say. My mouth only wants to say harsh words.

"Just forgive them, okay?" Harvey said, which made me unable to do anything. He just showed that he was running out of patience. I should have understood what I saw between Sean and his girlfriend. That was what Harvey wanted.

"Let's eat first. Jessie has cooked."

Oh, her name is Jessie.

I couldn't help but follow Harvey's steps down the stairs. To be honest, I'm still disgusted by remembering Jessie's face without imagining how wildly they made out.

Our dinner table is almost full tonight. I sat beside Harvey, while Sean was in front of me. He had eaten first, then drowned in his own world. I have to calm down so it doesn't seem that I miss him.

Jessie's cooking results were quite surprising, and I was even more surprised when I tasted the food. Trust me, I feel out of competition. Besides Jessie's beautiful figure, she is also good at cooking. My cooking skills are nothing.

"I hope my cooking is suitable for all of you." Jessie said as she put the butter chicken on Sean's plate. Yes, she doesn't eat. It sucks when she's good at cooking but prefers a diet.

"Seriously this is delicious. Do you own a restaurant?" Praise Harvey and I nodded in agreement.

"No, I'm just a model not a chef." She laughed, covering her mouth. "I'm lucky to have Sean always support my career. He said I was very beautiful every time I do the catwalk. Right, honey?"

Sean didn't intend to answer. During the last few minutes Harvey tried to build the atmosphere, unfortunately to no avail. Sean was silent whenever Harvey asked a question. I tightened the fork I was holding. If Sean only intended to keep quiet, why did he come back? What does he want?

I quickly finished my meal and got up from the chair. Jessie suddenly spoke. "Angel, I'll do the dishes."

"It is okay---"

"Fine, if you insist on washing the dishes."

Okay, she's a little unique. I don't even sound pushy. When I was about to dispose of the leftovers, I found a plastic box in the trash. I'm sure it doesn't belong to me or Harvey. I picked up a box and read a familiar restaurant name. So Jessie pretends to cook when she buys it from a restaurant?

Seeing Harvey approaching with the dirty dishes, I threw away the plastic box quickly. Jessie would be embarrassed if Harvey also found out about her lie. Maybe she wanted to make a good impression on our first meeting.

“Have Anne and Roby found out about Sean's return?” I asked, then washed the dishes.

"Yes, they already know. My mother asked Sean and Jessie to spend the night there." Harvey hugged me from behind. He slowly kisses my neck and brings passion. I groaned softly. I didn't want it if Sean who was only a few meters away caught us in the act.

"Do you want to make love?"

"Not now, Harvey."

"I miss you. We haven't had sex in a while."

"Wow, you two are romantic." Jessie appeared with Sean right beside her. I pushed Harvey. Let Harvey think I'm embarrassed to show our intimacy, even though I avoided Sean to see Harvey who is aroused. "We're leaving now."

"Don't forget to meet Anne and Roby." Said Harvey reminded.

"Of course, with pleasure."

"Shut up." Sean said to Jessie.

I was surprised to hear Sean yell. Sean left my house, then Jessie followed behind. What's with their relationship?

Harvey's sigh snapped me up. He pulled out his cell phone to call Anne. I massage his shoulders and he smiles. Sometimes I salute to see how much he loves his mother. There is rarely a man who can show sweet deeds. I wish I could be as open to my parents. Now I feel regretful because I don't have another chance. Yes, my parents are dead.

After cleaning the kitchen, I brought my laptop to continue writing novels. A paper suddenly fell right at my feet. I read the lines slowly, and the rest of the night turned into a mess.

'Meet me tomorrow at 8 am at Capital Corporate.'
