EIGHTY SIX

"Ardelle, stop it," Malvika called out to the six year old girl who was by the kitchen table, dipping all of her fingers into the flour and rubbing it on her face. Ardelle looked up and grinned cheekily at Malvika who sighed and walked towards her. She grabbed the kid and placed her between the ten year old sister – Keisha and the four year old brother – Anthony.

Keisha, Ardelle and Anthony were Haley's nieces and nephew, the kids Malvika was babysitting. She had gotten the job, thanks to Haley and she had been working for about two weeks now. She couldn't really say that she enjoyed the job, especially since she wasn't an expert with kids but the pay was great and so, Malvika didn't complain. She still kept her job as a waitress at the restaurant though, not because she enjoyed it but because it gave her an opportunity to earn more money when she wasn't taking care of Keisha, Ardelle and Anthony.
