THIRTY NINE
Diane walked down the stairs in her blue pajamas. She had spent the night in Natasha’s room. When she got downstairs, she saw Logan, Nicholas, Natasha, Malvika and Jayden seated at the table. She walked towards them and pulled out a chair. “Good morning.”
“Hey sis,” Malvika greeted.
Diane gave a small smile. “Hi Malvika.” She glanced at Nicholas and caught him staring at her intently. She quickly averted her gaze, lowering her eyes. She turned her head and saw that she had chosen the chair beside Jayden. “Hi Jayden,” Diane greeted with a full smile. Jayden gave her an half-hug with his arms around her shoulder. “Good morning Kristy, Logan,” she paused, then, added, “Nicholas.”
“Morning, darling,” Kristy, Logan’s wife said.
“Hi, Kristy,” Diane greeted.
“Diane, how are you this morning?” Logan asked.

Diane bounced down the stairs, a light grin on her face. Her hair was packed into a ponytail and she wore a blue shirt and a small top. She and Nicholas had chosen Friday night, which was yesterday, to go for their date. And it was awesome. Nicholas was so nice and gentle and all prince-charming.
