Scarlett’s POV

My eyes widened at what George said. How dare he say that after leaving me without a word after a night of sex. I could see that his face was soaked with water. And yet, he wasn’t even angry. He wiped his face with a tissue.

I wiped my mouth and stood up.

“I’m sorry, but I have to go, Boobae.”

“Huh? But…” I didn’t let Jessica say another word and left without looking back.

I hate George. I’m furious at him. What does he think of me? Is he treating me like some joke? Damn him!

I was almost at the restaurant door when I heard him call out..

“Carly, wait! Bhabe, wait!”

Ugh! I feel sick just hearing him call me “Bhabe.” Maybe because during that night when we had sex, that word sounded so sweet. I really thought “Bhabe” meant something special. I was so happy hearing him say that endearment. But now… it was all just a dream. He left me without a word. Not even a goodbye. I waited for his explanation, his call.. but nothing.
