Rich's POV

I was busy signing documents and making phone calls when my Dad walked in.

"Rich, come with me later. I'm playing golf with Elmer. You're good at that game—beat him for me," he invited.

"Dad… I have piles of work to finish and study."

"Leave that for now; you still have tomorrow. Besides, Elmer is only available today. If you want, I can have your brother Dilan sign those for you," he said.

I know my dad. When he gets like this—determined to take me along—he won’t stop. He’ll keep pestering me until I give in.

"Okay, Dad. What time?" I asked.

"We should be at the golf course by 3:00 PM," he said happily.

Sigh… Just when I’m busy, that’s when Dad chooses to bother me.
