Nick’s POV

When I woke up earlier, I thought of going to the mall because I wanted to buy a gift for George, as a way to apologize and maybe bribe him a little to tell me where Jessica’s condo is. I was in the gadgets area when I noticed a commotion. I saw a beautiful woman chasing after a man. She was running so fast. I looked around to check the surroundings when suddenly, a familiar face came into view.

My beautiful Jessica. I couldn’t believe that God instantly answered my prayers. I was about to approach her, but I hesitated. I saw that she was with a child. So, I decided to just follow her instead.

I saw them enter a pizza restaurant. Coincidentally, I could see their table clearly from outside. Then I noticed that there were flowers and balloons being sold nearby. I decided to buy some. I was about to go into the restaurant to give them to Jessica, but I changed my mind. I chickened out. Instead, I gave them to the little boy and asked him to hand them to Jessica.
