Lupe's POV

For a moment, my heart stopped then it began to beat wildly. He was staring at me with those dark eyes, I was experiencing a lot of firsts with this new Adrian, for the first time, his usual arrogant look was gone, replaced with ones that stared at me with so much intense emotions.

I swallowed hard trying to calm my beating heart. "Don't do that." I said not taking my eyes off his.

"Tell me what I shouldn't do." His voice was low, we were alone in the woods, surrounded by animals who crawled in the shadows and insects whose chirping was loud enough to make a deaf man hear. But for some reasons, I wasn't scared; I have never been scared of him but I once dreaded meeting him.

Seeing him here all alone in the middle of nowhere, I should have been scared of what he might do to me but crazy me was tingling in anticipation. The look in those eyes was driving me crazy.
