Katie's POVWe heard the growls and screams of some wolves. Yelling the names of the soldier wolves, Alpha Fredrick and mama. The others are already in search of Alpha's party. They have been gone for quite some time now, so it is no surprise that the pack is looking for them. Vlad made me choose what to do through our mind-link. He can wipe out their memories of them seeing Vlad and fighting amongst each other, overwriting their memory that they successfully banished me. Katie's POV Vlad won't let me go until he felt that I calmed down. I thanked him for everything thus far, he nodded and I noticed he was a bit lethargic. When I asked him if he was okay, he refused to answer at first but later on admitted that he used up almost all of his power just to come to me and the incident happened earlier with the blood-red dome and him rewriting a lot of memories forced him to completely use up almost all of his energy. He added that it may take awhile before he replenish his strength. I was going to let him rest but we heard some rustling of bushes. Katie's POV I immediately ran away the moment Vlad said yes. I know sooner or later he'll change his mind. That is why I did not hesitate, even for a moment, and scurried to find something to eat and drink. I was extremely thirsty the whole time. Katie's POV I ignored him all the way as we navigated through the woods. He is mind-linking me, trying to apologize. It was more like teasing, as he was smiling from ear to ear. I even stomped quietly a while ago when he wouldn't stop chuckling. When we finally got out through the woods, we saw some houses and a jolly group of vampires having fun as the moon lit up in the skies. He explained that we are still in the Southern terrain, and it will take us a month or more just to go to the Center regions. Katie's POVI opened my eyes when I felt Vlad's weight on me. The eerie silence cast upon us makes it seem like there's no one here. I can sense the cold breeze even though Vlad is still hovering on top of me. Because of this, I cannot turn my head around to see our surroundings. Where are we?
