Katie's POV I immediately ran away the moment Vlad said yes. I know sooner or later he'll change his mind. That is why I did not hesitate, even for a moment, and scurried to find something to eat and drink. I was extremely thirsty the whole time. Katie's POV I ignored him all the way as we navigated through the woods. He is mind-linking me, trying to apologize. It was more like teasing, as he was smiling from ear to ear. I even stomped quietly a while ago when he wouldn't stop chuckling. Katie's POVI opened my eyes when I felt Vlad's weight on me. The eerie silence cast upon us makes it seem like there's no one here. I can sense the cold breeze even though Vlad is still hovering on top of me. Because of this, I cannot turn my head around to see our surroundings. Where are we?
