Descending the stairs to the living room, she discovered her parents lying lifeless, a large sword piercing their bodies. Stunned and unable to comprehend what she was witnessing, she stood frozen in place.

First she was in her room and woke up with a terrific nightmare only to come find her parents with their bodies sprawled on the floor in the sitting room and their blood splashed on the walls with them soaked in their own blood,she thought it's was a dream she couldn't wake up from but the reality was right before her,she couldn't cry nor scream her heart only crushed from great shock.

She stood observing the whole room from a distance as she observed that her father tried using his back as a shield to prevent the sword from penetrating into her mother's heart but it's was too late.

The pack blamed her for the tragedy, thinking she was a witch causing all their misfortunes. They believed her differences, especially her unique eye color, marked her as a different kind of beast. Little did they know that she was a werewolf of a distinct species, a secret she kept to herself.

Kim got kicked out of her own home and missed her parents' burial.

Everyone, including her best friend Kara, abandoned her when she needed them most. It's like the people who said they loved her when her parents were alive now act like they don't know her at all.

It felt like a never-ending nightmare, but the harsh reality was becoming a slave, serving as punishment for her. They treated her like an unwanted plant, kicking her out and subjecting her to unnecessary beatings.

Despite being the one who cooked and served all the meals, she was often starved. If lucky, she would get crumbs from the kitchen bin, eating them to ease the relentless hunger in her stomach.

Every day, the same routine made her thin and weak, turning her into an easy target for everyone.

People who claimed to care about her when her parents were alive now called her a miserable thing.

Kim silently cried, tears streaming down like raindrops, as she remembered all she had been through and continued to endure at the hands of her master, Alpha Lil.

Alpha Lil, the younger brother of the deceased alpha of the Blue Crystal Wolves clan and Kim's uncle, took Kim in after her parents were murdered. He did this to avoid appearing as if he hated her, even though he harbored secret resentment towards Kim.

For the fact that she'll become an alpha after her parents even if she was a girl child,this was a burden he had to carry so his loathing wouldn't be known publicly.

Being the future alpha despite being a girl was a burden he bore silently to hide his dislike. Kim was initially glad to live with her uncle, hoping for protection from rumors in her clan. However, it turned out to be the opposite.

Within two weeks of living with him and his Luna, Isabella, Kim faced scolding for minor things that shouldn't normally lead to abuse.

Soon, she started receiving beatings for even the slightest mistakes, adding to her suffering and torture, in addition to the bullying she endured from outsiders.

Kim despised the murderers who caused her pain, imagining gruesome revenge like pulling out their eyes or skinning them alive.

She vowed to one day butcher the hand that wielded the sword and easily pierced her parents' bodies. Helplessly curled up, she pondered on the potential ugliness and ruthlessness of the person during that fateful day.

Today marks three years since her parents' deaths. She has eagerly awaited the day she'll meet her mate, hoping he would help lift her from the shame and sorrow she has been carrying.

Meanwhile, Alpha Jaden sat on a luxurious cushion, reading a threatening letter from the Red Fairies, a rival wolf clan. The letter demanded his pack stay away from a piece of land claimed by the Red Fairies. Jaden scoffed, smiling scornfully, and tossed the paper into the fire.
